"Planting Roots, Growing Community"
Our Mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community hub through sustainable gardening practices, promoting local food access, education, and environmental stewardship, while cultivating a sense of belonging and connection among residents.
We are a volunteer run organization. If you would like to get involved, please send an email to wcgarden2020@gmail.com. Our garden has many ways to get involved, and there are raised beds available for members for a small user fee. We will also grow produce for donation to the local food banks to help offset food insecurity, and increase access to fresh produce for all.
We are also passionate about education and aim to empower individuals through hands-on learning experiences, workshops, and access to resources. The goal is to foster a deeper understanding of how to grow food, care for the environment, and make informed choices for a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. By nurturing both plants and people, we strive to cultivate an an informed and connected community.
If gardening isn’t your thing but you want to help in another way, we have opportunities for fundraising, education, event planning, committees, and garden management. Or, become a sponsor! Students and others can also earn service hours for volunteering.
We hope you’ll join us! It isn't a community garden without a community.
