Service Hours Available!

The Weston Community Garden Society is looking for volunteers for the Community Garden at Markham Park! We will need help with the following:

Planting/donations for the community access "food forest"
Maintaining raised beds
Outreach
Grant writing
Event planning
General gardening (pulling weeds, mulching, watering plants, etc.)
Fundraising
Educational programs
Donations of new or gently used gardening tools, organic soil, etc.
And more!

We are pleased to partner with Hands On Broward, which is helping us with our volunteer efforts. Or, please sign up as a general volunteer. (See below)

Weston Community Garden Society: Where Nature Meets Community

Our community garden is a place where people come together to share their love of gardening, learn new skills, and connect with others in their community. We believe in the power of nature to bring people together and improve our overall well-being. Join us in our mission to create a beautiful and sustainable space for all to grow and enjoy! Come volunteer with us!

For all volunteers, please see below for dates, then fill out a waiver. We will provide water, snacks, and gloves to borrow. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen (and a refillable bottle is a great idea). We hope to see you at the garden!

*If you have a group of volunteers and would like to work in the garden on a different date, we can do this too, just reach out to us!

Volunteer workdays are now on the FIRST Saturday of every month

8/1/2026: Regular volunteer workday (8 am to 10 am)

9/5/2026: Regular volunteer workday (8 am to 10 am)

10/3/2026: Regular volunteer workday (8 am to 10 am)

11/7/2026: Regular volunteer workday (9 am to 11 am)

12/5/2026: Regular volunteer workday (9 am to 11 am)
